Model Year History Overview:
Ford cars were completely restyled in 1965 with longer and sleeker lines. They were fitted with a new sophisticated front suspension. Ford held onto this design through 1967 along with the 119-inch wheelbase.  Coming off its first two-million car year in 1965 Ford continued the momentum with the introduction of the 1967 Ford Galaxie 7 Liter convertible.  The powerful 7 Liter was equipped with the unique 428 CID V-8 engine producing 345 horsepower tamed by the smooth Cruise-o-matic transmission.
