1935 Ford 3-Window Coupe
(2-Passenger)
Model Year History Overview:
Ford Styling took on a more rounded look for 1935, and for the first time, an integral trunk could be ordered on the sedan.  Another round of engine improvements brought a new camshaft and a better crankcase ventilation system.  Also, the frame and rear axle were beefed up.  The simple suspension still consisted of a single transverse leaf spring front and rear, an arrangement that would not change for another 13 years.  1935 would be the last year for the traditional wire wheels given up in favor of all-steel wheels after this year.
This car was originally purchased in Northern Ontario, Canada and maintained by the original owner until the early 1960s.  The second owner painted it burgundy and black; original color was blue.  Interior upholstery and rumble seat are in remarkable original condition.
