1941 Ford ½-Ton Pickup Truck Model Year History Overview: This model truck series began in 1938 using components similar in appearance to its passenger cars such as the hood, grille and windshield styling. Changes to the 1941 pickup were rather mild. Among them were different parking light lenses, wider hood nose moldings and rectangular nameplates on the side of the hood. The instrument cluster graphics were revised. The V-8 logo was removed from the tailgate and the hubcaps had Ford script on them. Like the 1940 model, the spare tire was placed on the right-hand side between the cab and rear fender. 1941 was the last year of this model pickup truck series. In 1942 Ford pickup trucks made a complete departure from its former car-like form featuring a broad waterfall grille and large bulbous front fenders, but retained the passenger car type rear fender styling from the previous years. Total 1941 Ford ½ Ton Pickup Truck Production: 70,190 MSRP for this car: $634.00 Stock Number; C 127
