What a strange decade. It seemed Donna Summers was singing disco for the entire 10 years, Photo Realism was a new media and architecture was at a height with the construction of San Francisco's Trans America Building and I. M. Pei's Dallas City Hall. John Updike, Kurt Vonnegut and Rod McKuen wrote about various subjects while Neil Simon continued to make history with his play writing. The Kent State massacre was a disaster in keeping peace in our country and the Viet Nam war continued to plague another country. In 1970 the Floppy-Disc was introduced and one year later Intel debuted the microprocessor. Hey, remember the Beta Max, kitchens in avocado and yellow Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles?
